Superstar Pastry Design…

…specializes in wedding cakes, but also offers cakes for all occasions as well as an array of other pastry delights.  Basically – if it’s made of sugar, we do it!

…produces the finest cake and pastry products in the state of Alaska.  You will feel proud to serve your guests our mouth-watering treats.

…insists that your cake must taste as good as it looks.

…specializes in and, not or.

…is a scratch bakery.   We don’t have anything against cake mixes, but why pay a professional to do something you could do at home?

…is small enough to pay attention to you.  Nothing is mass-produced, so you don’t have to settle for what everyone else is having.  Like your frosting sweeter?  Want a little more tickle in your rum cake?  Just ask!

…is happy to work with your dietary needs.  If you have allergy or religious restrictions, please let us know.

…believes that everyone deserves a great tasting cake.  That is why we don’t charge extra for “premium” flavors and fillings and actually encourage you to experiment with different flavors in every tier.

…offers free delivery (wedding cakes only) to Anchorage and Eagle River for orders over $100.  Delivery anywhere from Palmer to Girdwood is available for a fee (please see pricing pages for more information).  But just because your event isn’t near Anchorage, that doesn’t mean you can’t have the best cake around.  We can coordinate long distance deliveries and have successfully sent cakes to Huslia, Quinhagak, Whittier, Moose Pass, Hope, Seward, and Nome.

…is not ashamed of our pricing and policies.  All of our information is available online - to anyone - 24 hours a day.

…loves to hear the phone ring!  Have additional questions?  Give us a call at 336-STAR or send an email – we love attention J

…is located at 3020 Minnesota Suite 1A (corner of Benson and Minnesota behind City Diner)

Hi, my name is Kory Guarderas and I the owner and Executive Pastry Chef of Superstar Pastry Design.  I trained and received my Certificate of Baking and Pastry Arts at the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco in 2002.  I spent two years as a Pastry Chef at an upscale restaurant and then another two running the cake and pastry line at a prominent local bakery.  In 2004, I started Superstar Pastry Design with a single raspberry cheesecake and in January of 2008 my husband Martin and I opened our retail location.  I’d love to make a cake for you too so, please, drop me a line.
